You are the caller of record
Whoever's caller ID goes out is the caller. That is the whole of it. Consent, calling windows, do-not-call obligations, the recording notice and identifying yourself on the call are yours, wherever the seats are.
A vendor who tells you their software makes those obligations go away is a vendor to walk away from.
What a bot changes
Not the obligations, the consistency. The disclosure is read the same way on every call, the suppression file is checked before every dial, and an in-call opt-out is written back immediately rather than at the end of somebody's shift.
- Every call is recorded and transcribed, so a complaint has an answer
- Calling windows stay where you set them in the dialer
- Opt-outs persist across campaigns, not just the one the caller was on
This is not legal advice
It is an operational summary written by people who build dialing software. Your client and your own counsel decide what your campaign requires; the bot reads whatever they tell it to read.
